1. Purpose of the Community

The Tie Talk – Professional Space is a private, membership-based online forum for healthcare professionals involved in the care, diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic support of tongue-tie and related conditions. The goal is to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, advanced discussion, education, and respectful exchange of clinical insights.

2. Eligibility & Participation

By joining Tie Talk – Professional Space, you agree that:

• You are a licensed or credentialed professional (or in training under supervision) in a related field such as dentistry, surgery, bodywork, lactation, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or related disciplines.

• You will truthfully represent your professional role, training, and experience.

• You will only participate in the professional space if you meet the above criteria.

3. Community Conduct Expectations

As a professional member, you agree to:

• Maintain Respectful Discourse: Engage in discussions with professionalism, curiosity, and respect. Disagreements should remain constructive and non-personal.

• Protect Confidentiality: Do not post client or patient information that may be identifiable, even inadvertently. De-identify all clinical cases before sharing.

• Respect Scope of Practice: Do not offer advice or commentary outside of your professional expertise. Recognize and honor the diverse roles of other participants.

• Avoid Promotions: Do not promote or solicit your own products, services, or events unless explicitly invited by the moderator.

• Protect Intellectual Property: Do not copy, download, or redistribute any materials shared within the community without written permission from the original creator.

4. Prohibited Behavior

The following will result in immediate removal and/or banning from the community:

• Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or intimidation of any kind

• Inappropriate language or tone, including sarcasm aimed at individuals

• Posting medical misinformation or unsupported clinical claims

• Sharing private or proprietary content outside the community

• Using the space for marketing, sales, or recruitment purposes

5. Content Ownership & Usage

• All user-generated content remains the intellectual property of its author.

• By posting in the community, you grant the administrator non-exclusive rights to use your contributions (quotes, insights, etc.) in anonymized form for community promotion, education, or improvement.

• Admin-created materials (guides, downloads, resources) remain the intellectual property of the owner and may not be shared or reproduced without explicit permission.

6. Confidentiality & Privacy

All information, discussions, and shared experiences within the Tie Talk Professional Space are intended to stay within the community.

• Members are expected to uphold this confidentiality unless express permission is granted.

• Any breach of this confidentiality may result in suspension or legal action if necessary to protect the community’s integrity.

7. Disclaimer

This community is for educational and professional collaboration only. It does not serve as a clinical consultation space, and any actions you take based on community dialogue are your responsibility and should be supported by your own professional judgment and scope.

The administrator assumes no liability for clinical outcomes, business decisions, or professional consequences resulting from discussions or resource use within the community.

8. Termination of Access

The administrator reserves the right to:

• Remove members who violate this agreement or community guidelines

• Modify or discontinue the community space at any time

• Update this agreement with notice to members

You may request to cancel your membership at any time, though no refunds will be issued for remaining time on subscription plans.

9. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By participating in the Tie Talk – Professional Space, you agree to the terms of this Service Agreement and the accompanying Community Guidelines.

If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from joining or request cancellation of your membership.
