Tie Talk -
The NTTC Community
A fortnightly live clinical discussion for practitioners who work with tongue tie patients โ across every discipline. Facilitated by Kate and Justin Roche from the National Tongue Tie Centre, Clonmel.
Peer discussion that drives practice forward
Tongue tie is not a condition that belongs to one profession. The practitioners who do it best are those who understand it across disciplines โ who know what the surgeon is seeing, what the physiotherapist is treating, and what the lactation consultant is supporting, all in the same patient.
Tie Talk is built around that reality. Fortnightly sessions bring practitioners from across the clinical spectrum โ surgeons, therapists, lactation consultants, and primary care clinicians โ into the same conversation, working through real cases with Kate and Justin Roche as facilitators.
It is not a webinar series. It is not a passive learning environment. It is a working peer group for clinicians who take this area seriously.
Fortnightly live sessions
Every two weeks, live. Kate and Justin present a case or clinical theme, the group discusses, questions are taken throughout. Both Alliance and Elite members attend live sessions and can ask questions in real time.
The full recording back catalogue is available exclusively to Elite members. Every session recorded since Tie Talk began โ available to watch at any time, as many times as you like.
Practitioners from every discipline
The multidisciplinary mix of Tie Talk is not incidental โ it is what makes the discussion clinically valuable. A case that looks straightforward from one professional perspective often looks quite different from another.
Alliance or Elite?
Both tiers give you access to the live fortnightly sessions. The difference is what happens between sessions and how much of the archive you can access.

The value of the multidisciplinary conversation
When a lactation consultant, a physiotherapist, and a surgeon discuss the same case, they bring genuinely different clinical observations. The lactation consultant notices the feeding pattern. The physiotherapist notices the compensatory tension. The surgeon notices the functional restriction. Together, they see the full picture.
This is what Tie Talk is designed to facilitate. Not a lecture, not a monologue โ a structured clinical conversation across disciplines, anchored in real cases from the NTTC's current practice.
The practitioners who will benefit most are those who are already clinically competent and want to keep developing โ and who recognise that the most valuable development happens in dialogue with peers, not in isolation.
